MMB Spring 2024 Online Course Offering

Medieval Music Besalú (MMB) in conjunction with the University of Lleida, offers accredited courses on medieval music history and its performance, Medieval notations (neumatic, modal and Franconian), monophonic and polyphonic repertoires, ornamentation and improvisation, musical iconography, research techniques, and medieval singing and musical instruments.

Interested in getting a University Specialist Certificate?

Medieval Music Besalú in partnership with the University of Lleida (MMB-UdL), offers a “Specialist Certificate on Medieval Music Research and Performance.” The program comprises core and elective courses on medieval music history, notation, research techniques, repertoires, musical and theoretical sources, performance practice, applied musicology, and voice and musical instruments. To earn the Certificate, participants should complete a total of 15.5 credits (ECTS) within one year.
